Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and diligent Junior Estimator to support our sales and production teams at Amvic Ireland Ltd. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in analyzing project drawings and providing accurate take-offs to facilitate effective sales quotations. This role involves a blend of technical prowess, customer interaction, and internal coordination to ensure the smooth distribution of products in line with project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze project drawings and accurately complete take-offs for sales quotations.
Promptly respond to incoming calls, directing inquiries to the appropriate department.
Manage and organize sales-related correspondence via email.
Coordinate the distribution of products to clients, adhering strictly to project schedules.
Prepare and complete sales dockets and maintain effective communication with the production manager regarding outgoing orders.
Requirements:
Proficiency in CAD software with a keen ability to analyze construction and project drawings.
Experience or familiarity with take-offs and measuring site quantities and dimensions.
A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and project processing programs.
Demonstrated telephone etiquette with a customer-oriented approach.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
A high degree of flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
Diligence, accuracy, and a strong numerical aptitude.
Eagerness to learn, listen, and contribute effectively to team objectives.
